Hey guys, test download speed from winamp.com

Hey guys, I just remembered how great winamp's servers are.

Try downloading a new version of winamp and test your speeds and take a screenshot and show us!

Man, I got 680KB from them once! On average I get the high 500-600KB!

I try the Shaw @home speed test, I only get like 230KB from them!

ANyway, go to winamp.com, download a new version of winamp and tell/show us your results

Here is what I got when downloading from Winamp.com without DowloadAccelerator:

Not everyone will get a great connection to this server. I hope you don't mean to imply that all will get good connection to their server, therefore it's a good way of measuring and comparing accurate d/l speeds.

I meant my reply to be to the top post of this thread. (I usually *assume* that unless its specifically directed otherwise, that a reply is to the original post...)

Anyhow, its cool when ya find a good (fast) spot to DL from, esp. when it's a major DL site. but I guess I just don't get the point of this thread.

I just applied some new patches and I get around 150KB/s now without Download Accelerator.
