would a gigabit network card make my dsl faster or even work at all. Sorry i

yeah a good quality NIC card will help your overall performance..not much but better than a low quality one. Also make sure all firmware or updates for drivers are installed from the company the card is from. IE nvidia cards from nvidia's site.

Just to be clear, it'll help performance, but it won't get more speed than your service is capped at :)
