Your MTU is set at more than 1500-you need to reduce it. What operating system are you using and are you cable connected?

is there one file that will fix all the settings for me. i see a lot of different things to download on the main page for modems and dsl not sure what i need.

Get the updated Speedguide_tweak_98_me patch and Speedguide_default_9x_zip.
To install the tweak patch, right click on it click on install and reboot for the changes to take effect. If it should pose a problem install the default patch to return everything to windows default. Just in case always back up your registry before making changes. Hope this helps!

Looks beautiful. Test your speed and post the results,if you would. You should see a big difference now.
If you continue reading in this forum, sooner or later, what you see in that test will make some sense to you. For now, don't worry about it. I'm lousy at explainations of things, so I won't try on that one.
