i saw in this url how to dedicate memory to the irq that ur eithernet card was using..
but how do you dedicate memory to the card its self??
as u can c im a newbie :<(

you cant. I've done that before and I didnt see any preformance increase either. I would just let windows manager your memory. Unless of course you have over 256megs of ram.

I don't know if this helps you any but, my 3com card has 2048 dedicated to itself, by itself! The figure is none adjustable and nonnegotiable. I tried that tweak too and it did nothing for me at all. It's still debateable as far as some people are concerned.
