prob with people connecting to my comp, please help me

ok, last night my brother decided to buy a lynksys netword in a box, and he put it in, so now my computer is an ICS SERVER. and it has 3 ip addresses. 24.51.xxx.xxx and 192.168.0.1 and 6.0.0.5 (tv data adapter or something) i think i may have found out why i was having that problem with people not being able to connect to my computer its cause of that 6.0.0.5 ip. maybe it didnt know which to use ?? but now that there is a third, i cannot do anything.. run half life server, share via icq, or aim, or napster. i am using a firewall, but i disable it when i try all of this. im using za pro. (yes, i ctrl alt del and make sure its not running in background) there is a router, its a lynksys etherfast 10/100 routher. but the ics client machine is only connected to that. it should have no impact on my ics server connection i think. ok, now here is more babble ...im on my ICS server machine, trying to do 1) run a half life server, or 2) let people take songs off me from napster or 3)transfer files via icq or aim. the problem is that nobody can connect to my computer. is it because i have more than 1 ip address like the 24.51.xxx.xxx and 192.168.0.1 and its like confused as to which one to use ?? i am really stumped, and my isp can't help me either. for some reason i think thats the problem, more than 1 ip address and it dont know which to use? someone with more brains than me, please try to help . thanks

Ok.
I will try to help but I don't understand everything you are trying to explain.

This is the way Linksys should work (I know because it works for me).

----> DSL Line with IP ?.?.?.? plugs into the WAN link on the back of the linksys. your PC with ip 192.168.1.2 plugs into the LAN port.

Now, put a static ip on your PC 192.168.1.2 with subnet 255.255.255.0 and reboot. Once you reboot open your browser and type http:\\192.168.1.1 which is your default ip for the linksys. I think user name is Admin with no pass.

Ok once you are in fill out the info.
Device name, DCHP or Static IP, mask, Gateway for your DSL, DNS.

Ok.. Now you can either setup your linksys to hand out DHCP addresses or put in a range.

If you are running ICS for Win2k Server, turn it off. That will try to act as a NAT and hand out IP's for your clients. Make sure to go to the linksys site and download the firmware upgrade if you need IPSec. Once you are up you should see in IPconfig /all your LAN IP address 192.168.1.? subnet 255.255.255.0, DNS of your ISP, and the gateway should be your linksys. 192.168.1.1

Hope you follow me. External people will be able to get to you by using the external IP you got from your ISP.

but my lynksys only has a uplink port, no lan or wan ports.
