To answer the other question no it should read what the patch put in unless the patch was put together wrong with a extra space or two and loads the info twice in the same key

I've got alittle test for you then, on one of those many pooters with the secret setting's, download 4.0, install it with no ccs and tell me what the RWIN is, not what you think it ought to be, but what it is in real life, and yes I realize I am not one of the people who get checks or numbers, snif,snif :eek:

as per our just resent chat 4.0 will put the Rwin to its Microsoft Default one of the .ccs file has to be loaded to tweak...
So lets say there is someone with win98 you need to load the Vtcp.386 first..
Then to get win98 out of its default you need to click on one of the .ccs file to get it tweaked... 4.0 is going to remove anything that was in the registry for the connections Tcpip, and put it all at default.
The reason this was done was to eliminate conflicts plus now the registry is clean...

In case anyone wants to know, after talking with Dannjr he said the Vtcp386 Fix patch might take 3 or 4 reboots to respond :confused:

Nope never missed the point 4.0 installs and sets it to Microsofts defaults :)

It seems your getting great download sppeds with your new reg settings. Can you post your settings here so I can cahnge my setting to the same as yours. I have a cable and using win me.
