No Connection For 3 Days Now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I live in the sacramento, ca area and I have had no connection (at least nothing solid for longer then a minute) in the last 3 days and counting. Any one else having the same problem or is it just me. the @home people are saying the same old song and dance of nothing is wrong or we are aware of the issue and our technicians are working on it. :(

Go to control panel, internet options, network, identification, make sure computer name matchs number cable company gave you,
domain would be: @home :)

We had the same thing here in Vancouver last month. Keep calling them. Demand a refund for the entire month, once the outage is over. I did.

On the positive side, once they got us through the problems, they replaced an overloaded switch and the service has been super-fast ever since.

well the computer name matches and everthing is good in that realm. But still no connection.

It may be a DHCP server issue. Try configuring the TCP/IP stack statically for troubleshooting purposes.

jerejo I dont think its just you I have a friend in the sacramento area and he is having the same problem

I know it stinks but it must be cable problem. call them tell them their modem is on fire (kidding) but get them out to your house somehow and make them give you credit for down time. :eek:
