Hello,
I now got stranded here because I'm totally lost in a TCP/IP configuration problem.
Whenever I upload files via ftp I wonder why almost every 5th file shows up with a 0-byte length after uploading. All other files seem to fit proper size.
Some files i.e. a file with a 64 KB size goes up there only with 32767 Bytes of size. I can reload as often I want. The whole system dosn't care.
I did all of changing the ftp client as well as the ftp settings in the client settings.
Then I started to examine the TCP/IP parameters. But I am doing so for about two weeks always changing parameters pennywise. No success.
I am really at the end and hope you can help.
Here are my settings:
Windows XPSP2
Germany DSL (t-online)
MaxMTU : 1492
TCPREcieveWindow :25552
TTL : 64
MTU Discovery : Yes
Black Hole Detect: No
SACKs: Yes
Max Dupl.Acks: 2
WindowsScaling : on
The speedguide TCP Optimizer tells me, that I shoud set the MaxMTU to a value of 1480. But I don't believe that. When I run with this value my connection seem to be very slow.
So. What else can I do to get my 64k file completly uploaded?
Looking forward to the golden hint
