hi, quick question, does the distance from my adsl exchange effect ping in anyway. im moving house soon and i did a search and found out my exchange is 3.9km away. my old house it was closer. is there going to be a ping difference. does the distance effect it, or is it just the line quality. being a gamer im always intrested in gettin the latency low.

any idea's?
