Just curious.. I'm taking the test Monday mornin'. It works as an elective for my MCSA: Security path, so I figured "why not?"

According to prometrics, the test is 100 question in 90 minutes!?.. That tells me they must be rather short, quick answer type rather than the paragraph scenarios found on the Microsoft exams. I don't exactly agree with the pricetag of the exam ($225), but I'd rather have another vendor neutral cert under my belt than just another MS elective exam.

thoughts or suggestions anyone?

wish me luck! :D

Studying for it right as we speak. What if any simulation tests have you tried?

Good luck man! :thumb:

This is the book I'm using as a study guide: http://shop.osborne.com/cgi-bin/osborne/0072227419.html

This is the 4th study guide I've used from that series & they all come with practice exam CD's and cost less than $40.

If you've got hands-on experience they make for an easy read.. :thumb:

I'm actually in St. Pete this weekend, enjoying the weather and studying a little before the beer & BBQ begins. It's gorgeous out today! I've been waiting all year for this type of weather to come back. <<sitting outside w/ laptop>>> :D

I just bombed it. :(

676, needed a 764

I'm so bitter right now.. I can only blame myself.. I was way too overconfident on this one.. I should have given myself more than a week to prepare, but I figured it wasn't going to be all that hard..

I scored in the 80-90% on the practice exams that I had, plus a few I downloaded, but unfortunately those practice exams were absolutely NOTHING like the real test. I felt like it was asking a lot of trick questions...

oh well.. its only $225..

back to the drawing board.. I won't be underestimating this one the second time.. This type of failure is UNACCEPTABLE in my book. :irate:
