I use it on my 2k pro box here at home. I use the set it and forget it setting. It defrages my drives, if they need it, at night when I'm not using my PC. I am happy with it. :)
I've used Diskeeper to "fix" drives on systems w/ win98. In repairing by fdisk-format-install I came across drives highly fragmented and slow where win98 defrag was too slow or reported many unrepairable errors on the disk. A run or two w/ Diskeeper fixed things quickly.

They dont offer the newest version in a 'lite' freeware version. However, I really like v7 lite and is available as freeware. It only allow manual defraging, but that's the way I perfer to do it anyway.
