Whoa!!  I`d kill (well almost :thumb: ) for a room like that!!

I`ve got a major change coming up myself! But I`m changing rooms altogether!

A major job as two rooms need re-decorating and the same two rooms are having laminated wood flooring fitted too! Dunno why my OH decides to have all this major work done around Christmas time   :irate: Last year she arranged to have uPVC windows fitted throughout........... IN JANUARY (possibly the coldest time of year for us!)!

Any pointers on setting everything up in the new room, like what`s best to put in first??

I think I`m gonna have a new desk with castors or wheels of some description on it so I can have the desk in the middle of the room, install everything, tie all the cables up neatly and just park the whole assembly in its spot in the new room!

Any advances on this method??

I am in the process of building a small cupboard into the bottom of the stiars where that corner of the bacment isn't finished yet. It will house my cable modem, router, and switchs. I am just trying to make sure it dosnt become a heat trap. I my get very ambitios and try to wire rj45 jacks into three different spots on the wall. I purchased some counter tops from Home Depot and will be useing these to creat kind of an hollow squair to replaice the computer desks all together.
Now this is the idea, my wife is getting a bit wound up about the disaster I am creating in the process. :) but we shall see

I know where you are coming from with your good lady wife, I just happen to have her permission/orders to do my/our/her change around so our son can have the bigger bedroom, he`s only 2 &1/2 ATM so it`s a little ahead of schedule but it just happens to fit in with some other stuff happening at the same time so this is the time!!

I am going to hook this bad boy up in place of the two older startech switches I have. The only draw back may be that I get stuck hosting all the lan parties at my house from now on. lol

Is it just me, or are all those pictures blurry?

ya, low light messes with the camera I have. It's not dark enough for the flash but just dark enought for the low light boost to come on and mess with the focus or something.
