We have been advised that Lavasoft R&D is working on one of the last Reference File Updates for Ad-Aware 6. The plan is that support for Ad-Aware 6 is to be phased out the first week of November.

Bit of a shame that, I had to de-install SE and go back to version 6 on one of my machines - SE always crashed when it was deleting things it had found.

Ever since I did this update when I run the adaware it removes all my history from my drop down list in my IE address bar.......
Has anyone else had this problem?
I first thought it was the spyware sweeper, but after running all the spyware programs I have and checking after each one, I found it to be Adaware......can someone tell me why? Nett

my Adaware said there was an updated reference file, so I did the update 4 times..... each time it said it could not be read ?
anyone else see this ?
my son did some surfing , that had tried to change my homepage ( which I always set to BLANK ) to some munky.com.
I now wonder if it has affected my Adaware , I am considering if the reference file doesnt update, reinstalling. I removed Spybot , for issues it gave , with software reinstalls I recently did.
But guess I'll be forced to reinstall it as well.

Ad-Aware SE1R64 31.08.2005 Build 75 available

This replaces SE1R64 build 74, correcting reported false positives discovered in the definition file update dated 31.08.2005

The files in question were an ActiveX registry manipulation object and an installation runtime file.

The ActiveX object was detected as family “Adlogix”, and the runtime file as family “Favoriteman”.

We have released a fix for this problem, which can be installed by performing a webupdate.

of SpyAxe.

SpyAxe is an Anti-Spyware application which is currently known to be installed without user consent.

Users can be misled by a fake 'Windows Update' message generated by a trojan, claiming that "Your computer is infected" and advising you to click a link to install SpyAxe.
