I'm buying my brother a digital camera this year for Christmas and I would like to get him a Digital Photo Editing Program that would be well suited for a beginner but a step up from the free programs that usually come with a new camera.

What features are you looking for exactly?

I couldn't tell you exactly but for example... I just bought an Olympus and it came with their Camedia software that has a very limited amount of features that you can use to enhance your pics. On the other hand I personally use Corel Photopaint but that's a little too deep for him. I guess I'm looking for a good newbie program that has some room for growth.

Meggie likes photo impression. I haven't had much chance to look at it but.

I have a Olympus cam as well. Yes the Camedia blows. Photoshop is what you want!
