I think that having bought a home is really taking a lot of my time from my computer ... Stacy will be pleased ... but I feel socially inadequate now :( I used to spend all of my time on the forums and the game server ... Now, I don't do much of either ....

how do you cope with it?

Buying a house that need no repairs or modifications helped me. I just cut the lawn and feed the moose and other wildlife. :D

My wife totally supports my gaming habits just as long I don't stay up until 4 a.m.

well I bought a house that needed no repairs .... but, we wanted to put in a different carpet, and then take out laneolium and install tile .. and decided to put hardwood in the office instead of carpet ... so, it messed a few things up ... and since I did all of the flooring (minus carpet) myself ... it takes quite some time to do this house ... (roughly 3000 sq ft) not to mention I am still excited about having a house ( my first) so, I am always working to make it great.

But, I hope that I can soon get back to how I was 4 months ago and just be hanging on the net and finally get back to gaming ... Oh, I miss it so ... but, i have just been so overwhelmed with working on the house and being outside in my yard ...

I grew up in the country. For the past 5 years I haven't had a yard at all .... so I am really enjoying being outside ... maybe I should just get a new laptop with a gaming vid card and sit outside and play :p

-lanceSometimes I sit back in my office and get a vision to knock out a wall or two or something evil like that just to get me off the laptop. Just wait until the winter. You'll be back here in full force with no daisies to plant or yard to groom.

Yes it does, until I heard how much you spent  But If I could afford one of those bad boys too..I'd be all over it! Very nice machine.

They do take monthly payments if you don't have the cash to initially shell out.
