Optimum Online

Does anyone here have Optimum online and if so, how is the service. What kind of speeds do you get.

I dont currently have cable or DSL, but optimum online claims that it will be available in my area within the next couple of months, so when it is available I want to be ready to get it and not be asking too many questions then.

Once it becomes available, just get it.. Possibly the best broadband service around. Consistent 5Mbps down and 1Mbps up connection. There is no such thing has peak and offpeak times... It remains fast day and night with low pings.

It's simple...if you can get OOL, GET IT! It's FAR FAR FAR better than any alternative.

I was planning on getting it but I wanted some oppinions first before I got it.

(At least 117 times faster than a 56k modem)

This is one of my first DSLR tests. I do however notice a Slight slowdown from time to time but slow for 00L is only 2500-3000 kbp/s
