Help - Doom Ladder Bugs?

Help,

I'm in Delta Sector and have just gone into the reactor, faced down hordes of screaming demons, only to be defeated by.....a ladder!

For some reason when I try and climb the ladder it won't let me get further than waist height above it, so I can't climb off the top.

This is very frustrating as the game is great. I get get past it with the no-clip cheat, but all other ladders are giving me the same problem beyond this point, it's almost like something invisible is stopping me climb up.

So far tried re-install and re-boots to no avail, all previous ladders climbed OK

Can anyone help? This is getting seriously annoying...

try moving slightly to the right then up, I have found you need to be dead center on the ladders.

Doomed - same thing has happened to me (1.3 years later). In the exact same way in the exact same room (Delta Labs - Reactor). Just adding to the thread for posterity. Did or does anyone have an answer?

Jon - your answer is for climbing ladders in general. This problem is more complex.

i would think it would have been fixed in a patch:confused:
