Yesterday I used TCP Optimizer for the first time. I'm using a cable modem, and W2K Pro, in a wireless 2 computer network setup. The internet connection is shared through CCProxy. After using the optimizer on the server I couldn't get IE or Mozilla to display a page. My client computer's internet connection was absolutely fine though. So I restored system defaults, and still no page to display. I uninstalled the nic thats connected to the modem, re-installed it, still no dice. I'm really not sure what's going on here, and I'd like to avoid a complete system wipe. The connection is obviously ok, so it must be a protocol setting in the reg. FYI - I did have some security rights changed on my C: drive a few weeks back, could that have an influence? Does anyone have any suggestions for me? Thanks!

I double checked my firewall settings... apparantly internet traffic had been blocked...weird. I'm using Bit Defender. It must be some issue within that prog. that causes that.

Thanks for all that read thru my issue.... now on to the tweaking!
