Cable Newbie / set virtual memory

can anyone tell me what numbers i should have for minimum and maximum virtual memory?
also , any other tweaks to speed up downloads. with Download Accelerator Plus i'm averaging 650mps. is this good? or could i do better? :confused:

hmmm if i decyphered your post correctly ill try and help.....

1. virtual memory/pagefile should be set to according to your physical RAM
your minimum should be set to the same value as your physical RAM
your maximum should be set to 1½ times your physical RAM
an example being with say 512MB RAM is ( minimum 512MB/ maximum 768MB)
that should be your optimum setting for your virtual memory...


Now as for you connection need some specifics what is your advertised speeds of your ISP and i hope you mean 650Kbps Which if your getting those kinda speeds then you should have no worries as that is faster than most peoples connection.....
