Ok here is the deal. I have had my cable internet for a while now, and when I first got connected I went to PcPitstop to check my connection..well everything was real good...I found out that you could tweak some registry settings and get a faster connection speed. So I did and it worked. My DL went from 1500 to 2900. My upload was still the same about 358 kb/s. Recently I noticed that IE was getting a little slow about loading pages so I went back to Pcpitstop and my DL are still fast but..my uploads have dropped clear down to 13 kb/s. Now I have ran all antivirus and spyware progs and cleaned them all out, went and changed my registry setting from tweaked back to default and have tried everything. My downloads are really fast, but Internet Explorer is still loading slow. Is there a way I can change the upload section in the registry. can anyone help me please. I am running Windows 98SE on a cable connection.
