help i have a added 50 ping

i have a verzion westell dsl modem with a 2wire Homeportal and about a month ago i noticed all of a sudden my ping had increasced by around 50. now instead of getting 30-40 on my fav BFV server i was now getting 80-90 and when i play with my friends from my area they always have about a 50 ping difference then i do in every server we go to. the verzion tech support won't help cause my download speeds are normal.

as soon as the connection leaves my house it shoots up to 60 it never did untill recently can anyone plz explain this and give me some advice to get it back to normal?

what is the model number of that 2 wire ??

is the ping any better without the two wire pluged in it looks like it is on the isp's side.


I misread it the first time i thought you aded portal then ping went up

the ping is excatly the same with out the 2wire im perty sure it is the isp crappy networks jumping around the the USA before getting to the server only when i ask verizon about it they say there routers are all working perfectly and give me some bs how they dont support ping issues

yes and no the main ping promblem is on hop3 but if you want you could try this
