Hi all, I just upgraded my dsl from 512k to 1.5. I was wondering if I should change anything in the optimizer. I run on windows xp and my internet is through sprint which is PPPoE.

Here is my analyzer log:

TCP options string = 0204057801010402
MTU = 1440
MTU is not fully optimized for broadband. Consider increasing your MTU to 1500 for better throughput.
MSS = 1400
MSS is not fully optimized for broadband (although it might work well for slower connections). Consider increasing your MTU value.

Default Receive Window (RWIN) = 64400
RWIN Scaling (RFC1323) = 0 bits
Unscaled Receive Window = 64400

RWIN is a multiple of MSS
Other values for RWIN that might work well with your current MTU/MSS:
515200 (MSS x 46 * scale factor of 8)
257600 (MSS x 46 * scale factor of 4)
128800 (MSS x 46 * scale factor of 2)
bandwidth * delay product (Note this is not a speed test):

Your RcvWindow limits you to: 2576 kbps (322 KBytes/s) @ 200ms
Your RcvWindow limits you to: 1030.4 kbps (128.8 KBytes/s) @ 500ms
MTU Discovery (RFC1191) = ON
Time to live left = 53 hops

TTL value is ok.
Timestamps (RFC1323) = OFF
Selective Acknowledgements (RFC2018) = ON
IP type of service field (RFC1349) = 00000000
