For those who live in Northeast Area of Ohio. That are on Roadrunner. You should be expecting a Increase in bandworth in the next two weeks. I just talk to timewarner and they said they should be done in stalling there new routers by then. Hope this helps anyone who was wandering why there speeds were slow!

You are correct on that! They are comeing out Saturday to change my modem, Sense they went digital in the area Iam in now they cliam my modem is to old. It might very well be I have had it for 4 years now. Its a old tan Motorol. I got the letter in the mail wed. And called them the sameday and they set me up for saturday. So I shall see if this helps any when they change it.

been about 2 weeks and I'm still downloading at 80kbs on a site that I used to constantly get 350-400kbs http://www.speedguide.net/ubb/frown.gif.

I talked to a level 3 tech at Akron, and he said the bandwidth upgrade had been completed around the time Storm90's first post! The tech went on to say that they had just "tweaked" all connections on the new line and the project was complete. I think this is a joke! I haven't seen one little bit of increase in anything. I used to be able to download "Bigfile" in 23 seconds, now, it takes 57 sec to 1:30. I do believe we have been duped!

Not Really I just got my new modem wich is dociss complaint and a new line installed into my house. My speeds are ecellent. If you are still haveing problems call them and have them check your lines or maybe even change your modem. May downloads now are from 500KB to 900KB . Uploads Are 350KB to 400KB.All I was did and email and complain to them and instisted I wanted mine check out. They sent me Email Back and told me they sent a ticket in to service.ANd someone would be out to check. They came saturday and replace the modem. Then wed they ran all new wire for roadrunner. Cat 6 for cable and cat 7 for roadrunner.
