How's the lag? And the range?

I'm trying to get something together so I can play games on my TV from my couch. Getting a 25" TV soon, thought it'd be nice to be able to do that.

It says the range is 6-8 foot. All is close in my setup so I have never really tried it. Lag for FPS is neglagible. If you however are looking for a gaming mouse you prolly want a wired mouse. JMO.
