You might be able to find some decent cheap cases at newegg, also, the site in my sig has some decent prices. if you decide to get something from Xtreme, let me know first. I might be able to help you get a little discount depending on what case you decide on

not sure how easy this one would be to mod, but it's silver and black...

Being that it's so cheap, I can't do anything for you in the way of discounts though

Plan out your case, don't go haphazzard into the mods.
Look around for components that will compliment your mods.

Drive doors
paint color
badges
window
lighting.
feet
interior mods and so on and so on.
A well planned case will always look awesome.

Roundeye has one of the nicest modded cases I have seen.
A good plan, excellent execution and plenty of time

I think he wanted to do all the mods himself...

right! I read his post, :)

he can add lighted fans, & cool fan grills,& cold cathode kits, round FDD & HDD cables, window etching & decals, wire sleeving, CPU and component cooling, UV mods, switches, fan controllers, temp sensors and displays, heatsink lapping,LED case feet(or wheels like I did),top blowholes, and all sorts of fun things.

thats why I showed him a quality easily modded case for a fair price,

looking at his questions and his system he does'nt sound like an experienced modder, and should start with the basics first to learn a little and get his feet wet. :)

Chris is right, think about what you want your end result to look like and plan from there. It takes a while to mod a case, so don't be in a hurry. Just think about what you want to do, and we'll help however we can. I don't think there's any step-by-step guides to case modding, so you'll just need to research what you need to do and make sure you have the proper tools.

Here's some pics of my case, I've upgraded since, new mobo, video card, and serial drives. But it pretty much looks the same.
