I think it is "shutdown -r" in cmd prompt ... takes a 30 second countdown normally ...

nm figured it out
start menu --> windows security will give you the Logon menu, from there you can just hit 'shut down--> restart computer
I'm lazy and didn't feel like going downstiars and hanging out in the office down there while installing a few apps and setting it up for a new user.

yeah if you are using the remote desktop .... just go to the start > run > and you can do it there or type cmd
at the command line (or the run box) typing "shutdown -r" will start a 30 second countdown until the restart. there are a few flags to set the time if you like ..
but, you can abort with a shutdown -a (I used this to recover a few machines that had the bug that would shut it down right away :D)
then after 30 seconds the puter restarts .... after it boots you can resume your connection and log in again :D
