Hey guys...

Ive been folding for a while now. I dont really know how long (probably around 2 months). When i first started folding everything was fine. It went at a pretty good pace and i had finished about 2 wu progress things. Anyways, about a few days after i got the folding program, i uninstalled it. And then when i reinstalled it, everything was messed up. My folding speed had dropped tremendously and it seems that my work is not being logged into the speedguide team statistics. I put in my original username as before and the same team number (15 right?). Anyone know what's wrong?

There could be several causes for this.

You originally had FAH installed as a service and when you reinstalled it it started folding again so you may have 2 instances of it running. If you are running Win XP you can do a ctrl-alt-del and check under programs listed under resources and see if you have more than 2 FAH programs running, normal are FAH4Console.exe (if your using the console version) and FAHCore-xx.exe. A number will replace xx depending on the protein your folding.

Another reason is that some large progeins have just been released and they take much more time to fold. If you could go to your folding directory and put the FAHLog file in notepad and look for a line like this:

[07:35:31] Project: 260 (Run 0, Clone 852, Gen 11)

The 260 tells you what protein your folding.

With that information, the speed of your cpu we should be able to tell you about how long it takes.

Tks
