View Full Version : Next week we scrim again against TigerForceRecon
So be ready. We'll gonna try for a later time to accomodate everyone to the best of our abilities. I will also hook up with them and see if we can't also get a weekend thing going...if you guys want that.
But for next week, we will need to come together the day before and work out all the logistical crap like Teamspeak and so on and so forth. So for those that want to use TS...we need to practice using it. For those that don't...that's fine as well. The main point here is to have fun. I would like to host the scrim on the SG server. It will make it easier for us to get people and communicate. Those guys obviously have their **** together and I don't think they will have any problems coming to us to play. Tonight was difficult but only because it was last minute.
Not for nothing.....everyone did great and it was absolutely a blast. I had FUN! I also learned something by watching those guys.
Enough rambling from me.

It was good to see YOU all.
If you could do us one favor... please help spread the word that we are back to the old maps on the SG server...but right now, they are all just the flying maps. We are trying to see what is gonna be popular and keep a crowd interested. So please stop by and enjoy the server.
Also, we would like to see you guys on the server next week when we scrim against TFR. Don't know all the details just yet but from talking to them afterwards, we definitely enjoy gaming with eachother and would like to keep this going. Personally, I don't care if we lose every week....I just wanna play alongside our friends. :D

I believe once the new patch gets out.. we will have more in it.. seein as how many are waiting on the patch cause of aggrivation or problems.

Once people realize that your server is populated each night they will add you to their favourites list. Just takes time to rebuild your regulars list.
I've got three servers on my favourites, (not including clan servers) which I have because they are always populated. Its not even 6pm yet and they are all full. They run all the maps, one runs them twice the other runs once, one has a high ticket count, the other is timed.
They're full because players know that if they join that those servers, even if empty they are guaranteed to fill up quick.
Since you already have a group of regulars, I'm sure it will be full on a regular basis in a couple weeks as more and more players find it.
Another thing that you may want to consider is keep tabs on what the map of the week (MOTW) is in CAL. Next week is Ia Drang, so lots of players wil be looking for populated servers playing that map.
I don't know how popular that would be but when I played BF42 one clan server only played MOTW 24/7 for that week and it was always full.

Cool. Good idea there. Maybe we can mix it up with Air Only Maps + the MOTW. That would rock.
