Sygate Personal Firewall Pro

Help! After I uninstalled Sygate, or even if I just close it, my internet drops to :

Speed Test (http://www.dslreports.com/speedtests/799761;26255;bc8037cae1e3d26baeada8c8df3bcc58;2.0;speedtest.cogeco.net/1090257259)

And I am on cable, 5000/640 :| I emailed the tech support and their information was completely useless. Anyone have any ideas?

Damnit! I just reinstalled Sygate because they asked me to so they can view the debug log, and guess what happens? After the installation it asks me to restart and I clicked OK and my computer just hangs when booting up. It just shows my mouse and a blue screen. So I had to boot into safe mode, uninstall Sygate and I could get back into regular windows but my speed is still the same.

Download Fedora Core, burn it as a bootable ISO to a CD, and install that.

Presto - No worrying about buying Windows, and you get a built-in kernel-level firewall, and a new OS to learn, and a lot of nice features.
