Hey everyone... I'm new here, and first want to say wasssup!!
Ok... I have a Proteva PC with a 500MHZ processor, 256mb RAM, Windows 98 SE, and use Internet Exploter 6 SP1.
My Internet provider is JCN Internet in Missouri, and I have the "residential Basic" DSL package whick it claims a 384K download max...
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Here is my "ANALYZER" results... Can you tell me which settings would give me the best download speed?
Here's a speed test I took also....

Your download speed : 320828 bps, or 313 kbps.
A 39.1 KB/sec transfer rate.
Your upload speed : 211542 bps, or 206 kbps.
(Analyzer Results)
TCP properties for IP = 67.64.201.83 ()
Browser/OS = Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows 98; &id;)
Notes: Read the Analyzer FAQ if the above is not your IP address.
TCP options string = 020405b40103030301010402
MTU = 1500
MTU is fully optimized for broadband.
MSS = 1460
Maximum useful data in each packet = 1460, which equals MSS.
Default Receive Window (RWIN) = 511104
RWIN Scaling (RFC1323) = 3 bits (scale factor of 6)
Unscaled Receive Window = 63888
For optimum performance, consider changing RWIN to a multiple of MSS.
Other values for RWIN that might work well with your current MTU/MSS:
513920 (MSS x 44 * scale factor of 8)
256960 (MSS x 44 * scale factor of 4)
128480 (MSS x 44 * scale factor of 2)
64240 (MSS x 44)
bandwidth * delay product (Note this is not a speed test):
Your RcvWindow limits you to: 20444.16 kbps (2555.52 KBytes/s) @ 200ms
Your RcvWindow limits you to: 8177.664 kbps (1022.208 KBytes/s) @ 500ms
MTU Discovery (RFC1191) = ON
Time to live left = 56 hops
TTL value is ok.
Timestamps (RFC1323) = OFF
Selective Acknowledgements (RFC2018) = ON
IP type of service field (RFC1349) = 00000000
