OK my dad is out of town for the week. I hit the Reset button on the back of our linksys router and I cannot get back on the internet. I have no manuel, what did I do? Can I fix this ?

Who is your internet provider?? If you are using dsl you might've earased your username and password.

try unplugging power from the modem

and shut down the pc,

and unplug power from the router,

then,

power up the modem,wait til it stops flashing,

then power the router back up,

then turn the pc back on,

and hopefully it should all come back up.

what dsl service do you have?

because on my verizon dsl I don't need a password or username to get online,it's just like cable isp there.

I hit the reset button because one of our machines wasnt being seen by another on our network. My Internet service provider for DSL is Sierra Telephone Internet.
