3Com vs D-Link

I currently have a D-Link NIC card and I was wondering if I got a better 3Com card, would it help my speeds and/or throughput any? I'd like to be able to increase and steady my download times as well as my ping times.

Switching your NIC out with one that has the same features (10/100 Half/Full Duplex) will not provide you any visable speed increases. If your network runs fine with the D-Link card, don't spend the money on a pricey 3Com card.

3Com are excellent cards and offer you the highest level of hardware compatibility and support.
