Does anyone use this? If so, what do you think about it?
I have been using it for a while now, and I'm still using version:1.32. I think that some of the features were cut in the free version that's offered now.

Lot of my clients have turned to http://www.cloudmark.com/ and really love it. A lot less work involved from the end user, as you subscribe to this plugin, and it gets updates on a regular basis which increase it's definitions of spam. Kind of runs by itself like antivirus software.

I was using it, I still have it installed. Like YeOldeStonecat said, extra work involved to use it. Having to run it first and then your mail program is my biggest complaint with it. In the past I would shut my PC down each night. running mail washer and then launching outlook wasn't a big deal. My PC runs 24/7 now and so does Outlook. I just don't bother stopping Outlook to run Mailwasher, so I don't use it anymore. I don't get a lot of spam here at home so it's easier to just delete the few I get than it is to bounce them back. Odds are they aren't going to get bounced back to the source anyway. I just make sure auto preview is turned off in my inbox. :)

I used to use it but I found that if outlook was open already then the mail would not stop at mailwasher and just go right into my mail client. Since I run an exchange mail server I found it easier to install a realtime server blacklist to the connection filters. This is probably not an option for you unless you know the person running the mail server.

I use IHateSpam myself and it works pretty cool. :thumb:
