I have a couple of unkown neighbors in my apartment building that apparently don't think encrypting their wireless networks is worth the "trouble". So, I am consistently being knocked off of my connection and asked if I want to connect to theirs.
Is there any way for me to tell my card to ignore those networks? I used netstumbler to determing that they are on Channle 6 and I am on 11, and I thought that would solve the problem.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

just start creating little .txt documents on their desktop that say things like "I'm watching you" or "Have you checked the Children?" and i bet they'll learn a little bit more about security....
seriously though, you should figure out who it is and politely explain to them the dangers of unsecured wireless netwroks. Hell, I'd offer to secure it for them for a small fee!!!!!

If you disable teh "Let Windows Manage My Wifi" setting in the netwrok properties, you can hard-code an SSID/channle combo to connect each time
