My opinion on DCX

I put it on my laptop yesterday to give it a spin. I played it for about 90 minutes tonight, giving it a feel.

I am REALLY impressed. They did a mighty fine job of making some interesting new maps and NOT going overboard on the changes from DC. Some of the different weapons are a blast to use. yet, the controls are so close to DC, there simply is NO learning curve to handle the transition.

I highly recommend to further the consideration to make the move to dcx.

also:
is there anyway to customize the controls on the helos? I'd like to make the throttle stagnet, like it is in bfv. This tapping of the w key to maintain altitude is tough!

that's why the people over at the DC forums consider BFV helos "noobed"

anythign even close to that would be to use a joystick throttle

I think the sandbags(in heavy assault kit) are fun/funny I was messing with them last night and the bots seemed really pist lol, they would drive into it, back up, ram it, repeat :D

yeah just Dl it from FP, it has its own folder but feeds off of some of the stuff in the DC folder i believe i.e: my sounds didnt install right in DC so in DCX I couldnt hear helos(true story lol)

And yeah there is nothing you can do to make the DC/DCX choppers fly like BFV. It's tough to get it to hold level even. even from a dead stop on the ground and hitting the throttle you won't hover. LOL They are fun.
