punkbuster q

i have been BANNED from servers before i can even get on them because of punkbuster. i have no hacks or anything but it is banning me. can anyone give me a hand?

r u getting banned cause pb is not enabled?..if so, enable it in game menu at bottom?

Punkbuster globally bans you only if they catch you cheating and it uses your cd-key to ban you....Or altering any PB files ...

Did you loan out your game to anyone? It is not normal for it to just ban you for no reason..... When it bans you it should give you a Global Ban GUID ########<----those being a set of numbers that identifies what you got banned from the game....Try and contact PB after you find out what caused the ban and see if the will release the ban but more than likely they wont do nothing for ya.. :(

Hate it for you man....But on another note lots of people have gotten Globally banned this week... :nod: Thing i like about PB is that they wait for a good long time let all the people that are going to cheat do it and become comfortable running the hacks and then one day BAM there all banned at once...

check PB's sight they have been having a bunch of problems with that and I think if you reboot it will fix it....... good luck!!

I only see a bunch of updates to the client but no severe issues related to banning of cd-keys by mistake....I have noticed that within a week alot of players have been banned on many servers i have been too and most of them that have gotten banned i have always suspected them of cheating/hacking especially when these people knew to look right where your at.... I do know PB waits a long time before they activate there global ban on a certain game anywhere from 1-3 mths getting all the hackers sucked in and feeling safe and then they bust you!!!! :rotfl:

So i think they have finally activated there software...

i have never used a hack or even thought about using a hack. i have never loaned out my cd key either. dont know why it is doing it

ATTENTION:

Tonight (Tuesday, June 15, 2004) we have a Large issue occurring with PB Global Kicking/Banning players.

To our knowledge the following games have been affected:

CoD

BFV

BF1942

At this time, we do not know what the cause of this issue is, however, we have found that rebooting your computer and then rejoining the server is fixing most the problems.

Please keep in mind that this is not working for everyone. If it does not work for you please contact your admin.

luckily i have a floating ip so it might just have come across a bad one. i havnt had issuses since.
