Hello, I am impressed with the contents of your site, however I must point out the inaccuracy of your SG scanner.
Currently I run a locked down XP box, with 18 processes, Zone Alarm and nothing else. No extra services, no doodad programs, nothing but a clean fresh box. All services are disabled that are not critical for Windows to run, and a tight local security policy. For safety I like to blast my windows boxes with various tools on other machines I have at home and work, and the simple truth is your scanner is telling me I have ports open that are NOT and CANNOT be opened. For example your SG scanner is telling me right now I have Telnet OPEN. FTP OPEN, SMTP OPEN, NTP OPEN. Unfortuneately, these services are DISABLED. Even if they were OPEN, ZA would block the probe inquiring its status anyway. Just to clarify, your SG scanner is not seeing something I can't see. I blast the crap out of my machine remotely using NMap, SuperScan and others and my box is [100% STEALTH] ... as it should be.
Possibly, your scanner is probing something on my ISP, but I'm telling you right now that there is no way that I have these ports OPEN.
I am not flaming down on anything, because this is a very good site, I just get a bit tweaked when I see oddities.
Regards,
DreadLocke
