Anyone playing Lineage 2 ?
I'm thinking about buying it just wanted to ask first.
So far i seen pictures and it looks very impressive.
Anyone ?

yes i played lineage2 beta too but all it was about is hitting/farming monsters thats why i asked here first
btw whats the difference compared with COH ?

im thinking about some new mmorpg just not sure which one ....

May I suggest an idea?...Guild Wars alpha testing just ended last Friday night at midnight. Guild Wars is an mmorpg that is in many ways similar to Blizzard's Diablo 2. In the reviews, it was said to be "the Diablo 3" - I totally agree with that. You can pick classes: Warrior, Ranger, Necromancer, Monk, Mesmer, Elementalist. And a cool thing about this game is that you can have dual-classes - I really enjoy this since I can never decide which class to be :D The dual-classing meaning, you can be for example: a Necormancer-Monk, where you have split attributes basically. And the reason it's called Guild Wars is that you can form guilds. In these guilds, you can have clan practices and tournaments. Many more features in this game. You really have to check it out for yourself though. It's an AWESOME game.

I was and still am so sad when the alpha-testing ended. They are going to have open beta testing sometime in June. I played Guild Wars. It's an amazing game. I would've been satisfied w/ the alpha version (there are a few bugs that need fixing, but overall awesome game) It's alpha version is better than most games at release though. So, recap: Guild Wars great game (from my experience with alpha and the many great reviews/articles on it), open beta-testing in June. Game should hit shelves sometime around Fall. But if you can't wait that long, I'd say get COH. I've heard great things about it, some from here at sg, and many great reviews on it

i heard about guild wars when i was playing shadowbane
for sure im gonna try that game
shadowbane was for me excellent game when i was just peasant but once i was promoted to guild leader and later on nation leader it was not fun anymore :mad:

Np, just spreading the love like the candyman. I want as many people as possible to discover the awesomeness of guild wars. Than we can form a guild. It has pretty nice graphics too, for all those eye-candy lovers.

Forming a SG guild ....awesome
The worst thing about guild is leader ...i mean he have to deal with all the threats,he cant even play the game because he HAVE TO answer all the pm's,deal with alliance,enemy,he have to keep guild teritory only for the guild,trade rares,craft items and call men to arms ..etc etc etc

i hope GUILD WARS is gonna be released asap :)

Same here. Yeah, the guild leader is gonna be busy as heck! I'd never have the time or the brains to do that. Because if you think about it, the leader is gonna have to be smart, in order to: form practices, help out the guild in strategies, make smart trades and decide when to have meetings. Wow, I'd never wanna take that responsibility. Well, I hope many other sg members read this thread and check out guild wars. It's my favorite game. Well, it WAS my favorite during the alpha. Even though I can't play it right now, it's still my favorite. I don't even wanna play my other games now. They all seem so boring now. Like, yesterday, I was playing CS, which usually is so fun for me. And I just kept thinking about guild wars and how it's so much better than CS. -_- I can't breathe. Guild Wars is awesomeeeeeeeeeee////////////////

I think you should definitely go for it. I would go for it TOO if I had my new comp now and if it was within my budget-range. But really, I gotta be saving for my big computer purchase and for Guild Wars.

I think everyone here should get COH, looks awesome, if you have the money to pay for online monthly fee of 15$/month. I know I sure don't. And also, beta for Guild Wars should be coming out soon - within a few weeks I suspect, and I want to keep my options open and be able to spend every last waking moment of my life on guild wars. That's just my opinion though. It's really up to you though :)
