I noticed a while ago that my Norton Systemworks occationally showed i had users connected to my computer when i should not

I began to monitor this using netstat.exe and today saw the following connected:
eqsjmdvip1.doubleclick.net:http

I modified my hosts file to block this address as well as a couple other doubleclick ones i read about

I also have seen my computer connected to my mail server. Is this a normal occurance? Outlook was not running, and i do not have any program that automatically checks my mail. Would a spyware program be the cause of this?

I do a pretty good job of keeping everything up to date. I have NAV, AdAware Pro, and just installed spyware guard. What else can i do? I have not noticed any significant slowing down of my computer.

It sure sounds like it. spyware that is. You might have a virus sneaking by using your mail server. Best I can say is scan the living tar out of you system with everything available and see what happens.

That's what i was thinking. I have already scanned my system with everything i know of. I also have email protection from norton.

Is there any way to check what i have been sending to see if my email has been hijacked?

Also, I recently noticed i was connected to this using netstat:
http://64.94.110.12/
When i went to that address, it gives me a directory, and the only file i know what to make of is a verisign GIF file.
