weird problem

i have a linksys nr041 router and i just used my cable without the router and i get 3 meg / 240 something upload or whatever i posted earlier i plugged my router back in and now all i can get is 1209/240, are there any settings i can put in or whatever or anything that i can tweak so that i can get the spd i should have? :( i have all the latest firmware

linksys nr041 router that isn't a linksys it's a network anywhere/every where they had linksys in the tiltle to make people buy it it's a gimmick. Go out by a dlink, or a real linksys you won't regreat it.
