"HardwareZone has reviewed the massive Hitachi Deskstar 7K400 (http://www.hardwarezone.com/articles/view.php?cid=10&id=1092) 400GB 7200RPM hard drive:

The new Hitachi Deskstar 7K400 is the world's highest capacity 7200RPM desktop hard drive right now. If storage space is all you need, you should look no further as this latest 3.5-inch drive from Hitachi will give you up to 400GB more storage space. That's easily 60% more than what is currently available from other vendors today. ...... "

That's a big a$$ hard drive! Unless your into video editing or warez, there's no need for a drive that big in a deskto computer. With a drive that big you'd almost have to buy two and put them in a RAID1 array just for sake of a backup. lol
