Icon's do not show Info when cursor hovers

Hi to All, need some help, Please.


Icon's do not show Info when cursor hovers. No text appears explaining what they are?

If here for example i hold my Cursor over a Smilie, no Text appears?

I use Win2k pro. I must have something set wrong but have no idea what. I've Googled my brains out...nothing.

Any ideas?

The Silly part is if i start up a Window and hold my cursor over an Icon on my Taskbar, it will display the text up to the point of the window almost fully opening and then nothing?

Hi to All

To anyone who may be interested, Problem solved. After changing drivers, uninstalling all the programs etc. and going through the registry a zillion times with no luck, finally!!!

I have been using a prog called " SpyWareGuard ". Who'd of Thunk!!!

It was not allowing Text to Show on the Icons. Bye, Bye " SpyWareGuard "
