All you have to do is set up 2 directorys on you hard drive. Call them anything you wish, I usually call them Folding1 and Folding2 or CPU1 and CPU2.

Place the lastest FAH4Console.exe in each directory.

Right click on the FAH4Console.exe and select 'Create Shortcut'.

I rename the shortcut to match the directory name so I can tell them apart when their running.

If you right click on the shortcut you can change the run name by adding any flags you want to use.

C:\Folding1\FAH4Console.exe -advmethods -verbosity 9 -local

-advmethods will get you slightly faster work units
-verbosity 9 will place more information in the logfile
-local will make it use information from the current directory instead of from the registry.

In directory 1 just double click on the shortcut and input you folding name and team 15 as usual and just hit return to the rest of the questions.

In directory 2 double click on the shortcut and input your folding name and team 15 but when it asks if you want to change the advanced settings, answer y.

Now just hit return until you get down to the question of Machine ID. It will give you the option of from 1-8. Hit the 2 key and then just hit return until it goes out to Stanford and gets a work unit.

There are also a couple of different ways to set them up to be easier to start if you have to reboot you pc.

Right click on the Start button and select Open. Double click on programs and then double click on Startup.

Open the directorys that you are folding from and select the shortcuts you created and copy them into the startup directory. They will now be started as your pc boots up.

or

Copy the shortcuts to your desktop and then you can double click on them after a restart to resume running.

Hope this helps.

Tks
Rick
