Hello all,

My first time on this forum, and I make my first visit a usefull one. I have recently built my first PC, upgrading from a Compaq Presario 2.1 Intel Celeron 1.2Ghz, 384Mb PC100 ram, and a Discontinued Kingston (PCI) Ethernet KNE 100TX(provided 4 years ago by my ISP) with a SurfBoard 3100 Cable Modem and my new system is a custom built system, MSI KM2M Combo-L MotherBoard, AMD Athlon XP 2.0+(running at 2.0), 512Mb ram, a brand spankin new D-Link DFE-530TX+ Express NIC (PCI) card with the same SurfBoard 3100. I installed everything and was running from the new motherboards' onboard LAN port, and it was slow(3MB max. upload from ISP)... so I switched back to the Kingston card... still ran slow, then i went and got the D-Link card and updated all drivers to the latest, and then made some adjustments withing windows and to the card, and I'm rinning at around 1.5Mb - 1.7Mb, and I play games and it makes me lag alot. I've ran TCPOptimizer and set my setting to the extreme setting and still slow.... I have called my ISP and they said everything up to my computer was excellent and it must be a problem within my computer or the hardware. I am lost, and any help would be greatly appreciated! HELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLP!

Sorry I failed to mention my OS in my initial post! I'm running Windows XP Home SP1. Below is the info you have requested:

TCP options string = 020405b40103030301010402
MTU = 1500
MTU is fully optimized for broadband.
MSS = 1460
Maximum useful data in each packet = 1460, which equals MSS.

Default Receive Window (RWIN) = 513920
RWIN Scaling (RFC1323) = 3 bits (scale factor of 6)
Unscaled Receive Window = 64240

RWIN is a multiple of MSS
Other values for RWIN that might work well with your current MTU/MSS:
256960 (MSS x 44 * scale factor of 4)
128480 (MSS x 44 * scale factor of 2)
64240 (MSS x 44)
bandwidth * delay product:

Your RcvWindow limits you to: 20556.8 kbps (2569.6 KBytes/s) @ 200ms
Your RcvWindow limits you to: 8222.72 kbps (1027.84 KBytes/s) @ 500ms
MTU Discovery (RFC1191) = ON
Time to live left = 52 hops

TTL value is ok.
Timestamps (RFC1323) = OFF
Selective Acknowledgements (RFC2018) = ON
IP type of service field (RFC1349) = 00000000
