DARKONE is a base sniper

I killed him eventually. He was in the coalition base tower sniping away at spawners on 73 easting. He was obviously there more than 30 seconds. I don't care too much... but everyone needs to play by the same rules.

And WTF was happening with all the vehicles exploding as they spawned in the base. Bug or somthin?

I think if you are sniping the "camping" rules dont apply.

About the vehicals blowing up that was pretty strange. They just randomly blew up...

Oh, my bad then... camping is only with vehicles? If that's the case I'm a snipin' every uncappable base from now on... that should improve my stats a bunch.

As for the vehicles....either SCUD or C4.

I thought the agreement was Sniping from OUTSIDE the base and shotting INTO the base was allowed .... I think they still want the 30sec INSIDE the base enforced right ?

Wasnt Scud or C4. They just litteraly blew up whenever they felt like it.

I don't have a problem with snipers, I feel that's a legit thing to do, it's not that cheap. Although on a small base like 73 Easting...Darkone was pushing the boundries of cheapness a bit...it's certain not difficult to overcome this. You have many spawn points on that map spread out all over it, even inside tents, so very simply sneak around and pop him!

Vehicles exploading, yes from splash damage from the SCUD, or C4, or even the MLR. Even just damaging a vehicle..leaving it smoking lightly, it will eventually blow up a few minutes later.

Thanks for the clarifications. As I said, just wanted to make sure everyone was playing by the same rules. I was able to kill him while he was reloading, hehe
