Cool, just a note to other people the server I run supports both FS2002 and FS2004 in the same game. So you don't need FS2004 to fly with us.

Man once I get my 9800 Pro put in I should borrow my dads Flight Yoke and give this a shot ... I didn't realize it had multiflyer options ....


What type of Network does it use to connect ? Is there a specific server or do you have to pay subscription costs ? or is it like a VLan across the Net ?

It uses TCP and UDP. Mainly UDP though. It is 100% free to play. There are several ways to join a Multiplayer game.


One way is through the MSN zone. http://zone.msn.com


I use a program called FShost from http://www.chocolatesoftware.com


Totally free again and offers alot of neat features not in FS2004. I run the server program on a PC at work.
