Connection sharing

Hi
Is it possibile to share folders/files between 2 pc's that go through the same router ?
I have a Pc upstairs that goes into my Linksys Befsr41 router and a Laptop downstairs that also goes in the router so would i be able to send folders/files between them why there not connected together but are using the same router :confused:

That's the best way to create a LAN. If running XP or Me, run the Windows networking wizard on each.
Same workgroup name on each, but different computer names.

The best way is to configure the Network Manually.:D
