thin client

Looking for some info on using thin clients for my terminal server, I have never used a thin client before. I need to know what hardware it needs and software. does it need a OS?

any help is appreciated.

The ones I've worked with, they run on a ROM image of NT Workstation 4.0 with USB support. No hard drive, just boots from a ROM. That was a while ago.

ya I wanted to use the via epia mini-itx mobo. Im guessing it would be cheaper and less of a pain if i get them from ibm, hp or dell. I would like to build one myself, i cant help it;)
