Networking question

My ISP is Comcast and I'm using a Nexland ISB SOHO router with a Motorola SB5100 modem. I'm applying Danjrs advice here:

I've done the following:
-Set static IP
-Subnet
-Default gateway (router).
-Prefered DNS (router).
-Untick automatic metric and set it to 1
Do I also add the DNS my ISP provides in addition to the routers address?
Also under DNS in XP
"Register this connectons addresses in DNS" is ticked by default. Do I leave this as is?
In WINS I unticked LMHOSTS lookup. Beneith that in NetBios settings do I enable NetBios over TCP/IP or disable it?

Scratch that. I set both Comcast's DNS as prefered and disabled NetBios over TCP/IP. Seems much faster. I'm still not sure on "register this connections addresses in DNS" though.
