Dvd To Divx

Whats a good free program to convert dvd .vob files to .divx, or .avi, something so i can watch the movie with one file i dont have to have 6 .vob files.

depends on the quality of the rip you are trying to do and your processor speed & type. I am on an athlon xp 2400+ with 640MB ram and it takes about 4-5 hours to do a good quality 2 hour movie. The file ends up being about 1GB in size. You can make lesser quality divx files that will fit on one cd... There is a bit of a learning curve to the program, but once you get it set just right... you are good to go.
